We had the same problem and added hot water to the dispenser , it worked. The dispenser has a small nozzle on the bottom ours was slightly clogged so I ran a pipe cleaner through the nozzle and fixed the problem. We use a somewhat thick fabric softener so we have diluted the by adding water to the softener bottle, works great. Love this washed .
