There arent new ratings because this fridge was sold 6 months ago, and most of the people complaint that had a dent on the upper door, i bought it on December 2015, i did not believe the reviews, then, when i open it, there it was, the dent. I asked for a partial refund, and i did not received any answer, be really carefull, it works good, but you are buying a brand new item, not a refurbished one.

I returned the first one, as it was getting ice in both compartments right from the beginning. It was also severely dented on back side and a ding in the front. I thought it was damaged. However, minus the dents the replacement is also getting ice in both freezer and fridge. I have to set it on 5 to keep beverages cold. I will deal with it until it quits. Would not buy again. I didn't feel like dealing with another return. The spatula is used to scrape the ice out of the fridge and freezer both. lol! Good luck!

There is very minimal frost buildup that seems to melt frequently. I'm guessing the spatula is just to scrape off that small bit of frost that remains. And when I say small I mean small circular spots of frost, not patches.
