• I would just clean it up really well and make sure I kept it in the upright position. Then you should have no problem, putting it in a storage unit.

• If unit has never been used, I would just keep it in its shipping box and store upright. If it's been operated before, I would make sure it's completely dry inside before storage. Protect the finish with a plastic wrap or some other material and store upright.
