- Answer Most likely, YES—but check the version. eARC requires HDMI 2.1 (or sometimes HDMI 2.0 with firmware updates). This cable is advertised as "4K Ultra HD," which usually means HDMI 2.0 (supports ARC but not always eARC). However, if it’s labeled as "High Speed HDMI with Ethernet" or "Ultra High Speed" (HDMI 2.1), then it definitely supports eARC.
