QuestionIf I use this in my carpeted bedroom will it cause my room to get warmer? Which kind is non energy efficient and uses Freon?

- Answer I don't notice any heat really coming off of the appliance if it is it's very little however what's really handy about this is it puts the refrigerator at high-level for a very small apartment refrigerator and then you have storage underneath for ice or ice cream or a few other things I think this is the best little mini fridge out there for the money very happy with it

QuestionWhy is there so much frost and ice build up and how do I stop it? Also, how do I defrost the freezer?

- Answer So far my fridge is working fine with no frost build up. You might have left the door cracked open and that can cause ice build up. To defrost you could take everything out and put it in a cooler and unplug it overnight.

QuestionFor Insignia: Where are is the hot side tubing for the refrigeration system located? I need to mount in a space slightly wider than the unit. Can I use a plate heat exchanger to transfer heat from sides to rear and use a fan to cool the unit?

- Answer The top has a drain and you unplug the machine then open up the doors put all your stuff in a cooler and let thaw out
