Yes, it does. I have used two different sets of headphones with it and both paired easily. I also paired a bluetooth keyboard with the unit.

The built-in Bluetooth is for the remote. Try to hook up a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter to the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the TV.
