“When you choose live tv will you be using the remote that comes with tv or the remote that goes to your cable box ? I have dvr with cable remote I still want to be able to record my shows”

• Use the Cable Box remote to control the Cable Box and use the TV remote to control the TV.

• I needed help from Dish tech support to set my remote up. Even then, I was not able to control the volume or mute on my particular Insignia TV. I can do everything else, though. I'm disappointed that I have to use two remote controls.
