- Answer No, mine was 5 months old they told me i should have bought the geek squad extended warranty, had to throw it out cause I was doing what you were doing, unplugging and plugging it in again to work untill there was a burning plastic smell coming from the back…..had to throw it out

QuestionI had the 720p version of this TV and wanted another to use as both a PC monitor and a TV, so I got the 1080p version for that. Unfortunately, I've set it up and despite the 1080p resolution, everything from the PC is pixelated -- not sharp. Advice?.

- Answer Please make sure the content you are trying to watch is 4K or 1080p and also to change the HDMI mode try this : Long press the home button, go to Picture > Advanced Settings > HDMI Mode and select 2.0.

QuestionNot sure why you need a 4K HDMI as I would think it would come with it since it is advertised for as a 4 K... Maybe I need to check my other New TV Toshiba that I just purchased a few weeks ago. Can someone explain TYIA

- Answer This is a 4k Smart TV, so you are able to watch 4k TV using the built in apps. There is no need for an HDMI cable but you will need an ethernet cable to a wi-fi connection to stream 4k TV. The TV also has a 4k HDMI port so you can connect a 4K device like a PlayStation 5 or BluRay player. Those types of devices typically come with an HDMI cable to connect them to the TV's HDMI port (when connecting a 4K device to the TV be sure to use a 4K HDMI port on the TV).

- Answer This TV has the Fire OS already, it doesn't have built-in Roku. If you prefer, you can plug your Roku stick on one HDMI port.

QuestionHow do I place this model in PCM mode? I have the Insignia™ - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer - Black and the sound doesn't play through the soundbard. After research, I see that I need to enable PCM mode, but I can't find it.

If you need to change the digital audio format, go to the Home menu, select Settings, then select Display & Sounds. Select Audio Output, then select Digital Audio Format and change the setting to PCM or Dolby Digital. I hope this helps. QuestionI don't use Roku or Fire TV. I have DirecTV ( box, not streaming) and I want to be able to stream Peacock, Hulu, Disney+ and Netflix. Can I download all of those and connect my DirecTv to this tv?

- Answer It says 4k, but if you havent bought it yet I recommend staying away from the insigna, customer service stinks on repairs, 5 months in on my 32 inch one the tv stopped working, under warranty for 1 year best buy and insigna pretty much told me they wont fix it cause i didnt buy a expensive warranty plan, so they pretty much lied about the 1 year warranty being in place

- Answer To edit the channel lineup go to Settings > Live TV > Channel Management > All. Highlight the channel you want to hide and press the Play/Pause button to Hide the channel.

- Answer No trick. I set it up the same as I have with other tvs and had success picking up quite a few channels. Maybe move the antennae around as it picks up channels.
