Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Best Buy customer kike21! I am sorry to hear that you have found yourself in this predicament where you are unable to turn on your TV. After reading your question, I "immediately" searched on the chassis of my 43" Insignia (Model # NS-43DR620NA18) as I thought that, at the very least, there would be a power button which I could manually push in to turn the TV on or off; however, I had no luck finding one. The power button is sometimes located on the outer/lower edge of the Insignia TVs' chassis--if one exists! I then went on the InsigniaProducts.com website and I tried finding information concerning a power button as described above; however, indication was made that one would need to use the TV's remote control to power on<>off the television set. Respectfully offered, my suggestion to you would be to "tackle" the obvious first--perhaps, your remote needs new batteries --OR-- perhaps the remote was damaged in some way or is dysfunctional. Perhaps, the in-wall electrical outlet or the multi-outlet surge protector needs to be re-set. Prior to returning the TV to the store, if it were me, I would phone Insignia tech support at 1-877-467-4289 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. central time--seven (7) days per week. You can indicate to the tech support representative that you would like for them to forward to you via E-mail the TV's "user's guide." This is far more detailed and user friendly than the "quick set-up guide." Usually the user's guides are available on the InsigniaProducts.com website; however, not for this model--not at this time anyway! In addition, after you replace your existing remote control's batteries ("prior" to phoning Insignia tech support) if you find out that your remote control "still" does not work I would indicate this to an Insignia tech support representative and if your TV is still under warranty and they agree to do so, they may replace the remote control for you. In addition, I provided a product recommendation below which is the Insignia Brand 4-device remote. Many times, it will go on sale. It is capable of operating many other different brands and types of electronics which require a remote control. Also, no further adjustments to this Insignia remote control model NS-RMT415 will be needed for use with this particular model of Insignia TV. "Please" take one (1) step at a time--the good news is that your TV is fairly new at three (3) weeks of age--well within the one (1) year warranty period!
I would recommend:
