• You could get one of Harbor Freight's cheap small wood/carpet-covered "furniture movers" (simple platforms on casters) and set this unit on top of it: Instant wheels! Look for item "SKU 58312" (this SMALL one is 12"x18" for $12.99 right now, 6-20-23, as just went there and looked). They come a bit larger, too, but I'm guessing this smaller one would work okay. It will also be useful if you ever need to move other things in the future. Good luck...

• JB weld adhesive will do the trick in a very permanent way. Alcohol scouring pad then dry both surfaces first.
