Can this freezer be laid down to transport? null

Hello, The method of transporting it, it should be just fine if you transport it laid down. Just remember that for it to function properly, it is recommended that you let it sit upright for approximately 24 hours before plugging it in for use. Grace - Insignia Support

Only a short distance...and if you do, you MUST let it stand for 24 hours prior to turning it on. This allows the cooling liquids to settle in the proper place for maximum efficiency and operation.
