“When defrosting this freezer, Does water runs on the floor OR this has a pan underneath the freezer to hold the water?”

• I have not had this upright long enough to have to defrost it, but I had one just about the same as this and it did not have a pan for the water. Looking at this one when we got it home and set it up. It is just like our last one and did not have a pan for water. When we defrosted our other one we put towels on the bottom to catch the water.

• There is no pan to collect the water. I would guess the bottom shelf will collect some water, but probably not all of it.

• This model does not have a drain pan, just a drain plug.
