• Ours is in garage but our temps are not so extreme. Seems you would need to turn down and monitor the internal temp and work the freezer puts out to not stess it too much. We love it for its size and ease of use.

• For anyone reading this the Insignia rep must have meant 109, not 190. Based on their celcius temps they posted.

• Yes I don’t see why not! We purchased this item as a spare one and it is sitting in our garage working so far without any problems
