Yes we hauled ours laying down. Once it’s in the house let it stand upright for 24 hours before you plug it in.

My suggestion, once you get the freezer standing up and unpacked, to be safe, I would not turn it on for 48 hours. Super pleased with the freezer's performance and size of the Insignia 5.3 cf.
