It contains alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride which is a quarternary salt that is found typically in cleaners of this kind. It is doubtful that it contains ammonium chloride because that is highly reactive. You might be thinking of household cleaners that typically have ammonium hydroxide that are more acidic and can break down germs or grime. The benzyl ammonium chloride is less acidic and it’s chemical action is more gentle if I may put it that way for all intents and purposes. Yes I looked this info up on fairly credible websites and given my BS in chemistry I am okay in screening out no pun intended misinformation. But fact check me if you are so inclined.
