• Yes, this my plan too. Dump Spectrum cable and just use streaming TV apps. HDMI ports, Ethernet port and TV takes Wi-Fi. I got rid of HD cable box with recording features. Ultra Roku is what I use for rec room TV.

• The short answer is yes, but certain channels will require you to pay additionally and require you to get an app and pay for the channel separately. ie. Premium channels like HBO or certain sports channels. Also, things like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, etc all require you to have paid subscriptions.

• Yes - and by adding a system like HD Homerun you can capture and record several OTA programs for later viewing.
