Thank you for your inquiry! The Alexa Voice Remote supplied with the Insignia™ 50" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV comes with dedicated buttons for specific apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Hulu. Unfortunately, these dedicated buttons are typically hard-coded and cannot be reprogrammed for other apps, such as YouTube TV. However, you can still use Alexa voice commands to open YouTube TV by saying something like, "Alexa, open YouTube TV." This can be a convenient alternative to using a dedicated button. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO. However, I bought a remote with two reprogrammable buttons, and a button to quickly set the remote. It is also backlit with a few other features. So, programmable remotes are out there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a process to go through but yes, it can be done relatively easily. Google "How to reprogram insignia fire tv remote buttons" and you'll find text and video guides on the subject from various sources. I have remapped one of them to a favorite app I use and it was not hard - unsure if I can put the actual steps in the answer but, the correct google search term above will get you what you're looking for :) Hope that helps!
