“Does the bucket have a fully removable lid for access for thorough cleaning? My previous dehumidifiers all had partial openings and even when I poured water and bleach to clean, I couldn't scrub, so I could never really get the gunk or mold out. Thanks.”

It does not. But it is wide enough on each side to easily reach in. The filter works so well, that bucket rarely needs cleaned.

If you dump the water often you shouldn't get any mold - we hooked up a hose in the back of ours and it drains into the sump pump - so standing water is never an issue. We've had humidifiers 20+ years in our homes and I've never had to "clean" one. Ours is in the basement and when it's humid it runs constantly but again I've never had a problem with mold or smell.
