“Do you have to use a hose to drain moisture? Or, can you use just the bucket/ container to collect moisture/ water then when full just empty? Thanks.”

You can use either way.Its just a pain having to dump it out ever other day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's set up to automatically collect into the bucket and you'd have to keep an eye on it and dump the water occasionally. We have preferred to hook up a hose and have it drain directly into the sump pump.
