I came here looking for an answer to this. I have had the TV for 2 weeks and have to remove and add the connection in the Alexa app all the time. I either get no response or a "doesn't support that" response. It works immediately upon adding it back but doesn't hold too long. Very annoying. I am not sure what is causing it, the TV or the Dot.

The immediate and temporary fix, like you said, is to unlink and relink the television with the Echo device. But, as you know, the connection does not last. I listed all of my troubleshooting steps, in my review. Feel free to give them a try, but none of them improved the quality of the connection. Insignia will either tell you that it is Amazon's fault, or that you need to return the television. Go figure!
