If you mean a remote with a number pad no, it has a nice remote with voice control. I just say the channel number I want and it goes there or you can pull up the channel menu and go to the one you want. The remote is easy to use and intuitive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I think it's part of what keeps the cost down on this model. The channel guide works pretty well so we just use that instead of surfing up or down channels. If you really need or want that, Insignia sells some really inexpensive universal remotes that would fix the issue. I've considered it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not and it is a horrible remote in that it does not have an up and down control for channels. So if you want to see 25 channels you will have to click 50 times. Very inefficient. While the voice mode is interesting, it also takes longer. Whoever thought this was a good remote was not very clever. Had I known about the remote before I bought the TV, I would not have bought the TV.
