“My TV kept telling me that I needed app space so I uninstalled be some and it kept giving the same prompt. I then tried to reset it to factory settings and now it is stuck at the language screen. Can you advise ?”

Hi Desmond. The remote looses connection to the TV when the Factory Reset is performed. Please, attempt to re-pair the remote by holding the Home Button for 1 minute while pointing at the screen.
