“I have a pair of headphones (analog I believe) that I used with my previous (older) Sony TV. Will they work on this unit? If not what do you suggest for a hard of hearing senior. Also, can I mount this on a desk top stand?”

You can connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack and you can mount this TV on a desk top stand.
