Both my parents and my Insignia Smart 4K FireTV editions have quit honoring the "LAST INPUT" setting and always return to HOME screen. This is annoying and NOT what we both purchased. Please fix software (I even did upgrade to make sure latest). null

Not an answer but comment...I am also experiencing this exact same issue. It did work correctly for a while but has recently stopped. Very annoying.

I'm not sure how to fix this I'm sorry but what I would do I would check for any updates sometime they would have updates that would fix most issues again I'm sorry I can't do more but this is my best knowledge hope this works for you.
