Alexa is only activated by pressing the Mic button. If you don't want to use Alexa do not press the Mic button. Also, you can Deregister your Amazon account on the TV, go to Home > Settings > My Account. If you deregister your account, the Alexa feature will not be available. David M. - Insignia Support
