“Looking for a 3.5mm Aux cable to connect speakers to my PC. The cable run is within a small wire casing which houses the HDMI cable, and power cable for the monitor. Is this cable shielded to prevent unwanted "hum" due to the proximity to the power chord?”

This cord does not have a special protections shield or sheathing. It is covered in plastic only
