• Earbuds work fine. I played the audio off my laptop; it sounded quiet at first, until a turned the volume fully up.

• Yes. The weight will add to the pull on the buds, of course. Might want to run it through a clothing loop.

• Yes, as long as they're the smaller 1/8" size at the end that you plug in.
