A:AnswerI have this item. I'm sure mini just is comparing it to the 'standard' plug size used by such things as larger headphones. Some headphones have a similar looking jack, but they are larger and can not fit into say the small input hole of an iPhone, etc. So mini = 3.5 mm in my opinion. THIS cable will fit into an iPhone headphone jack to give you a better point of reference.
