“Is this a 4 pole or 3 pole extension ? I would be using this with a headset for my PS4 and would need it to be a 4 pole so not only the audio from the game but the mic would travel through the cord as well.”

• This is a TRS connector. That means 3 connectors; tip, ring and shaft. Hope this helps.

• This cable will not work for your situation. Would work as a stereo cable and you would be able to hear but will not work for the mic.
