no, this will not achieve 120 HZ @ 4k. you will need an HDMI 2.1 cable for this

Please try again later.My limited research shows that HDMI 2.1 cables appear to be limited to about 2 meters unless they have a built in HDMI amp that is either powered from the HDMI system or some have a USB powered amp. The price really jumps for ones with the built in amp. Also, based on some other answers here and elsewhere, because of ARC and other things, amplified cables may have to be hooked up in a specific manner. There may be a specific end that has to plug into the tv. If the connections are reversed, the cable may not function and that would explain why some people here and on other Q&A boards have not been able to get a certain cable to work with their system when others do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was not successful in using the cable between a Denon receiver and a Sony 4K projector. After searching for an alternative, I chose a 30 metre powered cable. It has a USB power injection at one end and it sends a great signal.
