• Hello Bubba, unfortunately the cable is only for carrying the 4K signals, but you will need a 4K sender device and a 4K TV, since this cable will not provide 4K to a non 4K TV. Omar S. - Insignia Products Support.

• You need a 4K tv to receive 4k quality picture. The cable alone won't upscale. Try getting a 4k cable box.
