• This is a standard Desktop powercord that should work. For me, I needed it for a CPAP machine; same cord.

• I don't have access to that particular model Dell computer, but the power cable connection used on this cable is VERY common and standardized. I used this cable on a relatively new model of Dell server and it fit perfectly. I also checked it (for fun) on two different computer monitors I have and on my new Mac Pro. All fit like a glove. Look at the product photo on the BestBuy web site: if the end that plugs into your computer looks like the right shape to receive this plug, the odds a very good that it is going to work for you.
