• I donʻt know if someone ever answered you, but I believe you need an apple USB-C digital AV Multiport adapter with HDMI output along with this HDMI to DVI adapter.

• What you need to know is what inputs and outputs the MAC BOOK Pro has. The cable in this email refers to a HDMI (to the PC) to DVI to go to a monitor.
