• This cable will get the signal out of the computer via the HDMI port and into the DVI on the projector, but the DVI connection is ONLY video. You will also need a separate cable for the audio (probably a 1/8" headphone connector) - either to the tiny speaker in the projector or a real speaker system.

• Just make sure the DVI pin configuration this product is using is compatible with the type of DVI on your projector, as there are a few different types. I used this as HDMI on the CPU side and DVI on a monitor and it worked perfectly.

• Purchase the Insignia™ - 6' DVI-D-to-HDMI Cable or similar. This cable has worked for me. Just plug in and use.
