• Hi there, Please press the TEMP/TIME knob to set the number of slices of toast you plan to cook, then turn the knob to select the number of slices (1 to 6). Note: Repeatedly pressing the TEMP/TIME knob switches between the baking level and the number of slices settings. Renee, Insignia Support
