A:Answer Let me first say this: I am a former American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Americian Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator. I used a different model with my Nikkon Underwater Camera which worked fine to start off with, then the chlorine ate off the screw which attached to the camera. For shame on myself: i should have rinsed off the tripod as well as my camera...I knew better. I don't know if this model tripod withstand your particular pool's sanitation chemicals, but if you do try it, rinse all equipment with tap water, dry with a clean towel and allow all products to air dry before putting them away. Best of luck!
