• A:Answer 5 fit side by side one way, and 4 more faced the other way on the top 6 shelves. Bottom shelf fits 7 across only. (No reverse bottles) These are normal 750 ml bottles, not champagne. Lots of whites and most Rhône valley reds are slightly fatter bottle and cause you to lift up the front of the above rack to get them in out.

You can definitely use it to store beer bottles as well, provided they fit within the dimensions of the shelves. Since standard beer bottles are generally shorter and slightly narrower than wine bottles, you may actually be able to fit more beer bottles than the stated 61-bottle wine capacity. Depending on how you arrange them and whether you remove or adjust some of the shelves, the cooler could potentially hold around 80 to 100 standard 12 oz beer bottles.
