Not recommended. Fire TVs are VERY software dependent. The controls, programming, and all functions require the Fire protocol for the chipsets. Think of ROKU and Fire the way you would an operating system like Windows. A Smart TV is basically an Android with read only functions.

Yes just screw the antenna up and go the the settings
