Is the pressure release valve suppose to be loose or tightly sealed? Mine was loose. null

Mine is very loose and "wiggly" when the pot's cover IS NOT SEALED... meaning when the cover is off the pot and/or when the pot is not "pressured"
once it's done it's pressure cooking the release valve seems to be "not as wiggly" when I flip to release the steam. Not sure if this helps....but when I first
put the pot together, I was thinking mine was broken because the pressure release valve was so loose & wiggly.

It's loose until it builds up enough pressure to start the cooking process. Be sure to put it on sealing before you start the pot.
