• Yes, this model needs to sit and allow the fluids to settle after transport.

• yes, my boyfriend works delivery and they said actually they typically advise people to wait 24-48hrs. our salesman also recommended the same timeframe

• Yes, depending on the size of the compressor, you should generally wait up to 2 days for the compressor fluids to settle, especially if it was shipping horizontally. Obviously, the delivery people can't wait that long so they turned it on to make sure it works. Simply turn it back off and wait the recommended amount of time before turning it on again.

• Correct, Actually I think this is pretty standard with both refrigerators and freezers. (2 hours might be a bit much but atleast 30-45 minutes is best)
