• You could but any freezer or refrigerator out i. The open like that with the heat will be overworked and cuase it to have a shorter life span.

• Make sure your balcony is rated for the weight of the size of the freezer you want as well as the food you are storing. If your balcony gets a lot of sun, the freezer will have to work harder to keep the food frozen. This will decrease the life span of the freezer.
