“I've had this freezer for 5 days now. Its easily the nosiest appliance we have. I think the noise we are hearing is of refrigerant circulating, a gurgling type noise as though the system is sucking air. Its doing it very frequently. Is this normal?”

Our freezer is VERY quiet, something must be wrong with your freezer. I just love the amount of space I have.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This gurgling noise could be due to air gaps within the refrigerant oil. A special note is applied if the freezer or fridge was transported in a horizontal position. Once you have it in place and in its upright position, do NOT plug it in for 24 hours to allow the oil to flow back to the compressor and evaporator core. You should not notice this issue if done properly.
