“Hi! I am going to have this in my basement on a GFI Oulet. My electrician said to triple check that any freezer I purchase will work on a GFI outlet without tripping it and then spoiling all food inside. Can you confirm it's suitable for a GFS outlet?”

It’s being plugged into the GFI outlet in my garage and it’s working perfectly with no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That’s based on what size gfi switch and circuit breaker is in place and how many other things are on that circuit if it’s 20amp you’ll be fine 15amp should be fine but watch what else is on that circuit and 10amp is a no go
