“Are there casters on the bottom to move the unit easily? If not, can they be put on?”

• Yes, and no... there's one or two small (tiny actually, less than one inch diameter) fixed wheels on the front end that make pushing it in a straight line somewhat easier, but it's not free-wheeling casters. The back side has no wheels.

• There are two wheels so you have to tip it to roll it but is easily done.
