I purchased this and use it with my 4k tv and 4k player and it appears to work just fine, I get the uhd picture quality. Hope that helps.

The UHD standards are not completely agreed upon yet. I understand the cable can handle 4K just fine and haven't seen any issues to date.

I'm clueless on what you're asking. Here's what I know: I have a new 4K Smart TV and used the cable to hook up my Apple TV. It works fine.
