Your soundbar most likely came with a fiber optic cable which will work just fine. The only thing is it may not transfer from TV speakers to soundbar when you turn the soundbar on. Also, you will have to use the soundbar remote to adjust the volume. With an HDMI cable the sound will be an automatic transfer and you will be able to use your cable box remote to adjust volume. In my opinion the HDMI cable is a better choice. But you don't "need" it for the soundbar to work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By analog cable I am assuming you are referring to the RCA cable supplied with most audio equipment. It will work if on the back of the tv there is a set of corresponding plugs labeled as output. Match red to red and white to white.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you should be able to use the old audio RCA jacks (red and white cable). But HDMI will provide a clearer signal between the two, offering a better audio experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the sound box has a HDMI jack that will accept the cable you should use it. If it only has analog you can't.

Most sound bars have the option to use several cables including, but not limited to auxiliary, component, or optical. If you want the best you can get then optical is the way to go. There is not much of a difference between a $20 optical caber and a 60$ optical cable. They all us fiber optics to deliver crystal clear sound. I personally use one and it works great. You just have to make sure that you don't crush the cord, because of the glass fiber optics inside, it could potentially break the cord. What ever you choose make sure you sound bar and TV or home entertainment system have the compatibility for the cord you choose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your soundbar...I use an optical cord...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you do not, most require a digital optical cable, but you might want to check with the sound bar product first
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDMI is for video, it wouldn't be needed for a sound bar.
