That is a good question! I would contact Insignia directly, and see what they say about the certification on their cables. Insignia "should" be able to give you the answer you need. Good luck my friend........

Although this cable could be run through the wall studs with staples, the preferred method would be to run a 2" conduit (flexible) from point A to point B attaching that to the studs and run the cable through that. I have a newer house and that was the method used - passed all inspections.
