“We purchased 2 50' Insignia HDMI 4k cables and we were trying to connect a PC to a TV and neither of them would work. We tried a cheap 15' thin HDMI cable and just laid it on the floor and it worked fine. Is there a reason that this cable won't work?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Long 4k HDMI runs (20ft+) can be problematic for copper wires. I had the same issue with this cable. I returned this one and bought a fiber optic HDMI cable instead, and it works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some HDMI cables especially the longer ones with a data side and have a directional flow make sure you have the PC or the output side plugged into the right side of the cable and the set-top or TV side plugged into your display
