“Can anyone recommend a specific additional antenna for the radio? I can't get too many stations and one of the reasons I bought this unit was to be able to listen to this particular classical radio station. The antenna is attached. Thanks in advance!”

Just use a TV antenna. They operate on many of the same frequencies. Place it attic unless you have metal roof.
