• It runs off a standard electrical outlet. No extra power is required. However, they do recommend that you do not use an extension cord, which is almost impossible! Who has an electrical outlet in the middle of their backyard!! Duh! I used a heavy duty 100’ outdoor extension cord and plugged it directly into my outdoor electric Receptacle. . No piggybacking of extension cords. And i would not use one (or daisy chaining) of the standard cheap everyday $1 extension cords. Hope this helps.
